GH3-
I have one more song left on Expert- which of course is Raining Blood
I Also only have 1 song on Hard to 5 Star which of course is also Raining Blood.
I've played Guitar Hero 1 for about half an hour and i've played the DS one quite a lot. The only problem i have with the DS one is that because of the position your hand is in, i find it VERY hard to move my little finger properly, which is a shame
I have played a little of GH3, but chose not to buy it because i liked the idea of GHWT, which i will buy. I don't have much time to play console games so it wasn't such a big deal to wait for GHWT. Rock Band wasn't so great - the drums were awful! All i could hear was tapping on the pads and it ruined it for me. And it was a rip-off!!
I used to like dance games though and get this - i'm not even gay!!!
I like GH, it gives the fun aspects of guitar playing, without having to spend years on practicing guitar (and a few months on memorizing one song) I wish there was a program that'll scroll the notes of a song.

I go to some community where this is like the only game they play. IIDX and DDR. Amazing dexterity. They complain about the GH games being too easy all the time.

Rockband 2 is the greatest party game EVER!! I especially love the new drums (much quieter and pressure sensitive). I have every single download song (over 3oo songs total now), which means theres something for everyone at the party. Turn on the new "no fail" modifier, and everyone can have fun. I had a Rockband party last weekend and it was a blast to get all my drunk friends singing, wacking the drums, and strumming plstic guitars. Everyone had a great time.
Guitar Hero World Tour has a long way to go to compete with RB's awesome setlist. But I'm going to wait and play it to see which one plays better (I have a feeling Rockband will still be my favorite). Play this game if you haven't already! Even my friends that don't like Guitar Hero either love to sing or play the drums (which are VERY close to the real thing). Ok... I'll shut up now. I just LOVE this game so much...
Thinking about getting RB2 for the Wii. Had a little bazz on RB1 at a mates house and it wasn't too bad. Certainly would never play it on my own, does seem like a good party game though. Kinda like the new Mario Kart I suppose.
Maybe baby.
I would! The Wii version of RB2 is full featured (online play, downloadable songs, create-a-character, battle of the bands, challenges). Avoid Rock band 1 on the Wii though... it's a no featured PS2 port
I'm not that great but I got Raining blood done on hard. My buddy did Expert but it took us both MANY tries. Everything's swell and dandy after that brutal finger %^&$ at the beginning
I saw the price point of everything for Guitar Hero: World Tour. £145. I am gutted as i had previously heard it wouldn't be that kind of price but i am not at all surprised. And i won't be buying it now either, atleast not the £145 version. Though you can import from the States (if you're from Blighty, like me) and it should work fine on PAL XBox 360s.
GHWT will pwn RB2's derriere as has every other GH and as will every future GH.
Yea, I play some. But it has unfortunately caused me to dislike songs I used to like from the overplaying of them by certain poeples. *OldManClayton eyes the perpetrators* >_O
Hehe, it feels like I've stepped right into a fanboy world with this guitar heroing stuff I had something about Rockband in my MSN name thingy and was slaughtered by a few die hard fans of Guitar Hero! Must be careful. But I'll probably just get RB2 because of the Oasis tracks
