If you want to have your own tile sets, make some ones similar to those, and i'll create a part of the world with them note that this will go for 32000 pixels width

Looking good! Though I think you can improve them even more if you do either some antialias on all those black lines, or use a really dark shade of the overall color of the object instead of black!
Ok in this case I'll have to tell you they are too simple, some elements like the trees and the spikes look completely flat imo.
Not saying they're bad or anything but with some more shading you should be able to have some pretty decent results.
i also want to get some cartoon graphics, so i think i will let them like that because i like this style, since i learned how to make it, i love to do it more

Graphics can never be too simple. What a silly thing to say, it all depends on visual style and theme.

I'm not so sure it was a silly thing to say; it is more likely that Johnny Look was trying to say that the trees are too simple/flat in comparison to the rest of the background. If this is the case, i think he has a point.
Apart from the trees though, i think the graphics look cool!
