Do we have to? I mean, really now, nobody ever said that we don't accept them. I don't see where people get the idea.

It's just a name. If the website was called Game Fanatics, it doesn't mean non-fanatical gamers aren't allowed.

Not to sound like a jerk or anything, but I kinda like it that it stays mainly click. Sure, I don't mind it if the site accepts other games, but if we put a banner, eventually the forum will add the gamemaker section, and then we'll be flooded by people who use it, and blah de blah de blah...
He is Lord of the Old Men. But if there were a banner (which there won't be) it could be a small one right above the links to the other parts of the website.
when i say banner i dont mean a huge banner thats on every page of the site or even changing the name (thats just rediculous). just like a text thats noticeable on the upload form. or some sticky threads in the daily click forum so this topic doesnt keep popping up. and no we dont have to start a gamemaker forum or any other forum, thats why this is the daily click. we accept them but were not going to help you with them.
Construct is a beta. You'd be crazy to build a serious project in something which might not be forwards compatible. TDC does accept Construct games, but.. there are none, lol.
Hmm.. Caiman.us does look interesting. A lot of games there are quite crappy too, takes the guilt out of posting some of my worse games there and then forgetting about it . 11000 downloads is probably an exaggeration, though. I don't think that many people look for free games, unless they download everything on the site and such. TDC would break if even 50 games received that many downloads

there could be something wrong with that counter because really popular games like Knytt stories have around 1500 downloads.
I'll be sure to post more of my games there though, those guys are really happy to accept anything and it gets your game out there.
The caiman.us counter isn't broken. My Terminator game got 5,000 downloads from caiman.us and almost the same amount from download.com... Knytt has a small number of caiman.us downloads because people there are looking for -fun- games, not a grey dot movement simulator.
Discarded pizza boxes are an indispensable source of cheese.
i think the "are you new link?" is a tad confusing tho, i mean it does say
"1.1 The meaning of Klik
Klik is a word used in reference to Clickteam products (more on Click team later). These Products are used to create applications or games without learning to program; however, that is not to say you won't need to learn anything. These software titles are commonly used to create games, that is probably why you’re reading this. Unfortunately I will not be giving instruction on making applications, but some principals may still apply."
which could confuse potential members, some parts of that page should be changed to reflect todays "homebrew scene" a lil better
do they even make jamagic anymore?

But... WHAT ABOUT ALL THE ATMOSPHERES AND THE... NOT KILLING THINGS?!
