URGH look at all the sites! I'm not even going to try and name them all. All that I know is that when I try to download a game I'm faced with having to navigate yet another one of those 'You haven't paid for membership so we're going to make your download experience miserable!' file hosting sites. Worse still- quite a few of them no longer exist, which messes everything up for every one who wants to play Nextgen Shooter 4906, made in 2004, only to find that it can't be found.

We need a solution! GameBuilder's answer- to host things on the site- is quite a good one, but I understand the bandwidth would be at LEAST this much |--------------------------------------------------------------------------| .

So, I've raised a point and haven't offered a solution. Here it is. www.filefront.com . It's the best site ever for downloads. People who want to download the game simply go to that site and... get this- CLICK THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON! It's genius. Why hadn't anybody thought of that before? The Daily Click tends to hate the download links, making them not work for that site. I don't know why that is, so I tend to use tinyurl to make a nice little link to the download page.

So there, a perfect solution. Provided Tinyurl doesn't die. Or that Filefront changes again as it did when it was FileLeech. Or that Filefront doesn't start charging for its amazing service of excellence. Or that Daily Click disappears from existence.

Bah, time sucks. Any other solutions?

Don't aim for perfection- you'll miss the deadline

Yeah, google has some nice feature so you can have direct linking to an exe or zip or whatever. However, I don't remember how you go about to use it.

I started a click game hosting site awhile back in the hopes of solely hosting files for TDC. However, having enough storage and bandwidth costs money that I don't have.
