use googlepages if your downloads are 10 megabytes or below.

just log into google with your gmail account, go to my account---> page creator---> upload (its on the right). Then you just copy/paste the URL link to that file, and anyone can use it, and the bandwidth is very nice. It just has to be below 10 mb

Also, because at the moment Google Pages and Google Sites exist simultaneously, you can also use the 100 mb given to you for each Google Site. If you own your own domain, you get 10 gb of space with Google Apps.

I used to use googlepages, but I used up all my bandwidth. Now I only use them for things i need direct links for, like vitalize games.
