since we are doing a special holiday episode i tought it would be cool to do the following
get your mics readyyy and record your voice wishing the community happy holidayssss
what you need to include state your name or username your msg to everyone out there in the spirit of the holidays for example
hi there my name is rikus and i wish everyone out there lots of crazy nights and gifts for the holiday season.
keep the msg below 30 seconds, and send them to me in wav or mp3 format for audio and wmv/mpeg4 or mov for video to rikus@shaw.ca or upload it and send the link to my dc mail. once i collect them all they will be placed trought the episode with the persons avatar or picture of choice, if you dont have a mic borrow one make it work ready set make it funnnnn woohooo
ps if you have a webcam and you want to make your greeting with that, then totally go for it, even better

dont be shy for folks that are thinkin about it, If you have a webcam go for the video option you can dress up or just say your msg
go for it, if you just have a microphone thats fine to. its gonna be a good holiday

i would totally go for it the episode will air in about 3 weeks so there is still some time but i also need a good week to edit everything together so keep them coming i posted this on the clickteam website to so hopefully we will see some of the higher guys from clickteam leaving a msg to, yay

I think theres a website you could do the video on and record it and then possibly get the link to it? im not sure how it would work but the website is BlogTv make an account and record a show of you saying it and then link it?

...I made one too. I know I'm still a noobie on this site, will it still be accepted? I sent Rikus a WMA file of my voice making word-like noises. In WMA because that's all I could record in. Bah. Humbug.

Ok, lol. Another question. Is it fine if I show off the Eegra.com shirt I won from their Shindig? Also, the webcam recording is 20 MB for 15 seconds (about the same for 40 seconds too), not sure if that's normal or emailable. Maybe I'll just do a simple audio one if it's too big

Use a better codec! H264 throws out full quality 15 second, 640x480 vid at 1.8mb
Lol, where do I get a better codec? I'm not going to buy Windows Movie Maker for a quick "hello" thingy and I'm too lazy to sift through all the damn webcam software on the interweb to find out which one is more suitable. Could you guys just like.. edit it to make it smaller or something?

I'm thinking about doing it, however I won't do a video. It gives out personal information; along side the fact I just think that I don't look good at all.

We're almost all strangers in reality. Ok, so we've seen the odd photo of most members and a few members have met at click conventions, but its not like we all attend the same gentleman's club or anything lol.
Lol, members usually pop in and out of TDC anyway. I don't think many of you guys remember our former admin Ashman, who was probably the most active TDC-er ever If no-one knows you now, they'll probably know you by next year anyway and this will be cool for people to look back on and say, "Hey, remember that klikcast thing where everyone posted a quick video saying hello? I miss the good old days!"

thats ok falcon, i got it, i am also subtiteling all the submissions just in case because some audio qualities are better then others. The next episode is this saturday, i'm closing the submissions, time to put this beast together
