If your talking about the little boy then no, he's hardly annoying.
He wants one thing. A bee bee gun known as a "Red ryder rifle". That's ALL he wants for Christmas, and all he can pretty much even think about. The funniest line in the whole movie everyone kept saying was, "You'll shoot your out!" The funniest time was when "Santa Claus" who was kinda rude and tried rushing the kids through, off his lap and down the slide. It was the kid's turn and when he saw santa he went woozy- obviously he couldn't remember what he wanted (I think that was why). Santa's rude helper said, "Send him down!" So Santa sent him down. He climbed back up the slide, and remembered what he wanted. He said, "I want a red ryder rifle for christmas!" Santa then says, "You'll shoot your eye out kid. Merry Christmas. Ho, ho, ho." Then he shoved him down the slide. Priceless. Here's the link.
I'm not keen on films where the kid is after a toy or something, and he'll no longer love X or Y parent if he doesn't get it. If it's something smooshy like "all I wanted was my family" (Home Alone) then . Probably why I'm not much a fan of Jingle all the way. Liked it years back though!

Bratty kid movies aren't really my cup of coffee, but the movie didn't express the kid hating his mom and dad because he didn't get his thing, though it may seem that way.
