It was good, but as always I feel sad when it's over. Not exactly sure why, it's just the same as any other ol' day. O_o Wasn't quite so bad this year, though, because I resigned myself to not worrying about it. Every year it's like a tradition, I have to say, "I remember last year I was saying this. And the year before that. It seems just like yesterday that it was Christmas last year."
It's a 2 week holiday-athon for me. Xmas, New Years and birthday all 1 week after the other just feels like Christmas doesn't fade so soon. Takes all the chocolates and the specially bought foods to go before thats done with.
for me the post xmas period is one of relief! does that make me a scrooge? i dont think so, theres been so much to arrange and buy and it all worked out well... thank gawd.
Twas a good Christmas. We tore through everything at midnight. The next day (Or LATER to be exact...) felt like the 26th. Ugh. My Kingdom Hearts Disc won't load a single frickin game (Or even start a new one for that matter) because my dogs kept tripping over my controller's cord, bringing the PS2 down. Surprisingly, The PS2 works like a charm but I still consider myself lucky IT didn't break. Also my dad got the crap bitten out of his hand trying to break up a dog fight . Blood was everywhere. Including one of the dog's.Christmas was great, last night sucked.

WTF. Why do you keep dogs together if they fight like that?
The past few Christmases haven't really felt Christmasy to me either. :\ But, my entire family is in good health so I can't ask for anything more. This whole year flew by. And the last one. And the one before that...
It's summer down under (I can't beleive I just said that) at the moment so it's an 8 week holiday!!!! Yay!
Christmas was good. I've learned to associate Christmas with spending a nice lunch with rellies and opening a few presents, so this year felt very chrismassy
Yea, pretty much the only thing I can do is remember that "magic" Christmases are a thing of the past, and just to enjoy being with family and eating ham. And of course, presents.
For me it was a day like any other one except it was a bit colder than usual and people gave me presents even though my birthday was 3 months ago. Oh and santa featured in most tv commercials which started being annoying after a while.
I woke up to find everyone else had already opened all their present, and they kept shoving mine at me.
I had opened them all before i was even fully awake.

I remember I believe it was either last year or the year before, when everyone made their avatars have Christmas hats on them, and if I recall correctly, it was entirely there choice, and apparently the admins gave everyone a deadline to get rid of the hats or else they'd be docked some DC points. Haha, those are some post-Christmas blues right there.
It's gone a bit quick here too. Think it's because I'm working my arse off at the moment to get some stuff sent off, but I managed to keep away from working on Christmas day itself. It's not the same when you have something to do.
This Christmas, I decided to go with getting a few games and a cellphone rather then a bunch of parts for my computer like usual. So my post-Christmas blue is essentially being bored with everything I got already.
PS: Glad to see you know how to contribute, Adam. That was an insanely useful post right there.
Glad it wasn't just the west Midlands that let Christmas 'go past' everyone - no-one seemed to be in a very merry mood, everyone appeared miserable in towns i shopped in and hardly anyone said Merry Christmas back to me when they served me. Guess they were a little pre-occupied with worrying about losing their jobs or wondering if they could afford their bills and things but still, very disappointing.
Oh, and i noticed there were fewer decorations out in people's windows and in high streets this year. This is also very sad - though i cannot really comment on the house windows thing (since i have never bothered turning my home into a light-fest before), i think councils are exceptionally mean for not putting decorations and lights up in the towns i'm about to list;
Hereford
Worcester
Kidderminster
Brierly Hill (especially Merry Hill)
I hope the people who made the decision to save a few quid on their town's decorations this year in order to increase their own bonuses find themselves falling down some really steep steps this year!
On a plus note, Tenbury Wells put on a great Christmas light show this year after a disasterous 2007 attempt, including the Christmas tree decorated from the bottom to just half-way up. With some forceful pressure from the locals who complained, they went all out this year and made some good ammends.

Bingo.
Jobs going, rubbish economy, even shops closing. Not been the best year. Best thing to do now is throw some money at either the US or Euro economy or banks and bring it out again when Sterling drops even more.
Y'know everyone talks about the northern hemisphere, hows Australia doing through all this? They seem characteristically cool
yeah, go on!... why don't you two have a RACE about it?
and I'll even say that christmas was quite good, thou I didn't feel the spirit much, to have the familly over, and have one big happy party was really nice. also I got some decent presents, so it's all good.
Profile edited as it messed the layout of the site up.
At this point, I'm not worrying about Christmas, because it and my birthday were finished up this past week. (Although I still don't have my birthday cake yet ) I got echochrome and Episode 3 of the Strong Bad game with my extra money from Christmas.
