This is obviously the best Klik fan site in existence, but maybe there could be more detailed sections so you can find the exact type of game you are looking for. I realise there are sections, but they just aren't specific enough. i.e. Platformers, that covers ALOT of games. Maybe it could be narrowed down to the type of platformer it is. (run and gun, fantasy, puzzle, mystery, very simplistic, etc.)
What I mean by this is sections under sections ... so you click on Platformers then you click on the Type of platformer you are looking for.
Maybe you could add a new section called 3d and 2.5 dimensional, then place "Beat em ups" as a section under that. There could also be a section under Platformers called "Beat em ups" but the difference is one would be platforming and the other would be 2.5D or 3D.
Anyways, thanks for reading the suggestion, I hope you'll consider implementing it for the site.

Dang, the last one got deleted before I could reply, but what I was going to say was that:
1. When submitting a download, picking a category reveals a list of subcategories, which a selection must be made from as well.
2. On the download list, instead of picking from a bunch of category links, put them into two combo boxes, one for categories and one for subcategories.

The downloads are quite broad, if you make more specific categories I think there will just be a lot of huffin and puffin when we need 100 different types of download categories and you just made this new game but it doesn't fit in Platformers > 2D > Run and Gun, it's more like Platformers > 2D > Fantasy x Mystery x RPG.

Nah, it'd be much better than what's there now.
The whole point is to have more categories so it's Easier for people to find the style of games they like to play.
There could always still be a category called "Miscellaneous", for things that don't fit neatly into a category.
It just needs to be planned out in a Family Tree sorta way, that's all I'm saying.

ENGINE = Base Code that a game can be built upon, the foundation basically.
{ Miscellaneous Section } ---> anything that doesn't fit above
With this system, if you find something that doesn't fit, an admin can add in a new area for it.
NOTE: Platformers could be any of the others, but the others can't have platformers listed under them.
i.e. Platformers --> *-beatemup-* *-shootemup-* (in a 2d platformer it's called Run'n'Gun)
Now that I did most of the placement work for them, it should be easy to add it to the site if they like the idea.
