Hi everyone. I recently released a platform engine that I've been working on. Some people pointed out some bugs that I had missed and now I have fixed them, or at least I'm pretty sure I have. Anyway, I was just wondering what the policy is on uploading different iterations of the same stuff. Like I said, I got rid of the bugs but I'm afraid that if I just update the link on the current download page no one will notice, but on the other hand it's not really a different download.

What are your thoughts?

People aren't usually too stingy around here, but it is a good idea to keep the iterations of one project down. I learned that with Balding Overweight Man.
Do what Cecil and Mr. Green said. Copy the description from the old download and then delete it. Paste the description in a new download and edit it as necessary. Then, for future projects, only release the final. Post downloads on the project page and get feedback by a few people before deciding to let it loose on the public.
