Hi all,
I have a quick question.
Is MMF 1.5 able to load png transparency?
I know MMF 2 is able to do it, but my game doesn't work on MMF2 ;(
Thank you in advance!

MMF 1.5 has the Alpha channel object, but it's terrible compared to what MMF2 has!
Do yourself a favor and scrap your game, remake it in MMF2, or better yet in Blitzmax or Python+Pygame.

Remake your game in MMF2 though... if it doesn't work in MMF2, then it must not be too efficiently designed, or much of any good. The only reason I can think of for why a game wont transfer over to MMF2 is because of bad programing or lack of extensions, but MMF2 has a ton of support for what MMF 1.5 needed extensions for, so again, there should be no excuse.

The game is a turn based RPG.
The story levels work well on MMF2 but the fighting level crashes after a couple of seconds.
At the start of the fight level the characters are all stopped.
The only thing you see are the time bars that charge to get to their maximum.
Could it be bad programming?
Maybe... but I don't understand why the game is working properly on MMF1.5 and is not working on MMF2.

MMF2 can handle a hell of a lot more then MMF 1.5, bad programing on your part is the only valid excuse. Sorry.

Don't worry Aptenn,
I don't fear criticism.
Maybe the problem is really bad programming.
The fight level of the game isn't easy (it has 1764 line of code and it's not finished yet) and I'm proud of how I coded it because even if it has so many features (attack, magic, item, combo, protection system, familiar summon that fight by your side, special tecniques, ecc...) is solid enough to never crash, regardless of how complex is the fight.
I'm not so arrogant to believe it can't be programmed more accurately or that the level could not be any better, but that does not mean that the programming is bad at all
Since I wish to continue the work on MMF2, I think that will be the opportunity to check the whole code again and maybe make it better.
So, thanks Brandon for pointing out the problem.
I will work hard on it to improve the code
