I stopped playing Castlevania games back in the days of yesteryere when they were western gothic, and I googled a few of those DS titles and they looked pretty hardcore japanese anime. How does a game franchise make that kind of jump? Its completely unappealing to me in an aesthetic way

I found a site a couple of years ago that answered that with the tl;dr version saying "Castlevania art styles go off whats currently popular, 80's it was Arnie/Conan action films, 90's i forget and 2000 anime". The anime style in the new ones only extends to the players sprite and avatars. Everything is propa dingey yo.
I used to play Most PC like Dungeon Siege or KOTOR, but I'm now playing Click games lol. I've almost completed Cavestory and Bonesaw, I'm still trying to open TTT beta, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, and I'm thinking about replaying The New Satan Sam.
Anyways as far as basic PC games go I'm really thinking about re-playing Dungeon Siege. (Oh, for the ump-teenth now?).
Dungeon Siege is so annoying to replay. Well, DS2 I mean.

The third one is about you controlling bowser... it sounds a bit stupid but I have a feeling they'll pull it off.
Gah. Actually there's loads of games that I've almost finished but just stopped.
Superstar Saga, Golden Sun 2, Pokemon Pearl, Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid Prime 3, Advance Wars (ALL!), FF7, Tales of Eternia, LocoRoco 2, Star Ocean, GTA (all!), Super Metroid, Mario Galaxy, Brawl. This is becoming a problem
I never beat the final boss in superstar saga. I spent the entire game thinking you could only upgrade HP when you leveled up. Even with infinite everything I can't beat it because your health goes down to one in the last part of the battle.
