A new section will be added to the site this week called The Click Museum. On this special download page you will be able to find classic click games from the past. In the next couple of weeks you will see games uploaded but these will disappear from the main download page quickly as we continue to code this into the site. You will be able to visit the museum by simply clicking on a button for it that will appear on your profile.
If you have any game suggestions for the museum please let us know. The only rule is that the game must be older then 1 year and recognized by others as a good classic game. All the games in the museum are uploaded to our own server so that everyone will be able to enjoy these games for years to come. If you have any old games worth placing on the museum yourself please let us know and send them to us so we can upload them for you.
Thanks to Jesse for the first huge Bunch of games that will be available in the museum.

Are you looking for suggestions, or the actual binary files? A lot of the games I would've suggested are in the archive provided by Jess anyway. Can't wait for you to... add...... them....... to TDC........
What would be cool would be a list of old games which people want but aren't available online, then if someone reads the list and has one of those games they can submit it.
I know someone called Thorst was looking for Rat 1, Dark Power 1 & 2 (by Black Rogue Software) and Mario Fight (or similar featuring song "Tequila" by Champs. I wonder if Anders Jensen-Urstad still has a copy of his old archive, as that was a treasure trove of old games.
Some of the new games submitted should probably now get a front page mention, considering all the old klik museum games are now pushing new/all submissions off the front page download list.
Hopefully this weekend we will have some code into place that will remove the museum games from the new downloads page, it will take a couple of days to finish up.

How about Venture 2, a crazed fan sequel to an old arcade game that goes miles and miles out of its way to break you? Might want to bundle it with the strategy guide, too.
Thanks Qrl, we will be sure to add those, we stopped on tuesday uploading old games for the moment until we can get the download.asp code fixed so it wont display the museum games in there. Because the new games were a little fazed out by all the old classic games. Hopefully this weekend that should be fixed and we can get back on the classic train!

Just a suggestion to make it a bit more museum-like, right now it just states the author of the game, but not the year of release. Mentioning the release date will make people able to put the games in context.
Also, wouldn't it be cool to have the museum link in the top menu?
Should all those Fallen Angel games be added? They are only about 4 or 5 years old I think, not quite ready to be part of the museum yet IMO. Anything around 2001-ish or earlier should be added
There's a puzzle/arcade-styled game I'd like to play again. It was a about a blue blob-thing out to save his girlfriend or something. It was a top-down view and I believe the enemies were skulls and you also ate carrots for health/score something.
I remember a game i think called 'QWERTY' I think it involved a stick figure and an alien type thing with a big blue shirt. I'm almost positive it was made in KNP and It was a platformer. Anyone remember this?
By the way, I just found a bunch of CDs containing old klik games. I'll check them against the ones already uploaded and see if I can offer any new ones.
Hmm, I remember an early Klik&Play RPG, "FATE" I think. The creator had a voice clip before the title screen saying "To my dear Alicia" or something. Ring any bells? I loved that game!
Apologies if I shouldn't be doing this. I haven't been to The Daily Click in ages. I didn't even realize I still had an account. I know this is an old thread now, and I was just reading something about this site dying, but I have Havoc's Fate. You can find it here http://www.ijusthadaterriblethought.com/fate.zip
There are two EXE files in there. Fate.exe is the original Klik & Play file. It wouldn't run on my 64bit Windows 7 so I made the fatemmf2.exe. Same game.
