Try just checking "Run when minimized" in the application runtime settings.

Cheers guys, Key object does the trick perfectly. If anyone is interested, I have just made a program that detects when cats are walking on the keyboard and blocks their input. For me its pretty much essential. The amount of times I've been working on something and the cat has jumped up and messed with stuff is ridiculous! Anyhow, problem now solved!

Ooh, sounds good! Maybe post it up here?

I used to have a cat who would hide all the time, except from me. (She liked me because I was probably the only one in the house who didn't fight her or force her.) (And, of course, I went off topic. Oh well, your problem's solved anyway.)

Liiies. You're making a keylogger.

Meh I could just download a keylogger if I wanted one. But seriously have you ever tried to find decent cat blocking software?! The only 2 programmes I could find were useless to me. One of them (called PawSense) costs US $19.95 and the other was made for mac, go figure. I might release this for free online or something.
