Here's an .MP3 of a ska song I wrote today. Please ignore the fact that you can't hear the lyrics - this was all using VST's and SoundFonts, and I can't afford the awesome virtual singer plugins right now.

I was thinking at first, 'ska?', it sounded more like a song from the Mega Drive (specfically Road Rage), but then it got into the actual ska bit and it was very good. The instruments need a lot of work, they still sound a bit like midi instruments, but the actual composition is excellent.

Yeah, if anyone can lead me to some good new guitar/voice synths, that'd be great. I have much better orchestral synths since I use the Garritan Personal Orchestra for my orchestral stuff.

I used Sibelius to write it (I can't use those sequencer programs... I have to have sheet music!), Garritan Jazz and Big Band for the horns (their saxophones and trombones need some work) and bass, SynthFontVSTi for the drums, organ, and lead, and DSK Electric Guitarz for the guitar.
