Recently I've been seeking to write some original music for my game, and after I'd found MadTracker it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. Does anyone have any experience with this, or knows where I could find a few tutorials etc which could help me learn how to use it?
I used MadTracker for a while because at that time (2002/3) there wasn't a decent replacement for Fast Tracker 2. I quickly put it aside for Milkytracker when that arrived. MadTracker, as far as I remember, wasn't very consistent with other tracker formats (ModPlug Player wouldn't play MadTracker-exported songs correctly, for example). They could have fixed the issues by now, but that's what I found at the time. If you're just looking for something to make mods for games in then Madtracker should do the trick.
