Most of you know me from the articles I've written here or the project page that I've set up. I was just wondering about starting another competition. I wasn't sure about it since one is already almost over and I don't know if people are up for another one. I don't have an official thread idea yet. But if I were to start one, I want to know something. Would you guys be interested in developing someone else's idea that they don't have time to? The point of this thread is to have people post some of their ideas and hopefully as a sign up sheet. So, what do you guys think? Would you be willing to take on someone else's idea?

Then please post some of those! The point of the compo is to have others make your ideas because you don't have the time to. I don't see how entering would effect your status in the other compo. Unless theres some wierd rule barring against the participation in other competitions. I'd only be able to give out dc points though. But the point is to make some good game ideas.
EDIT: It's not that we're lazy, and couldn't do it ourselves. It's just that we really don't care who makes these games, its that we want them made. Like the other day, I was doodling with new software that I had downloaded and drew two guys racing across water on various wave sizes. The only two things I thought that would make guys gun for it would be beer or women. So I imagined that a groom and his father in law (I blame my sisters!) were running towards the bride. If the father won, he'd get to spend one more day with his daughter and then send them off on a honeymoon. If the guy won, then the couple would go off on a dream honeymoon. The catch being that the bride would be throwing various dangerous objects at them to slow them down. Points would be acquired for each object avoided and the time to reach the boat would be deducted. Keep getting hit, and the time increases, and your character gets pushed farther to the back of the screen. Go past, and it's game over. (Multiplayer options abound here )
As you can see, this could make a neat, fun minigame of sorts. But with work and my other project, I just don't have time to make it. But I would like to play this if someone else made it.

This seems more like a team project, not a competition as how can we judge entries? Making someone elses idea they didn't have time to do its just voting games as you would a GOTM. Unless someone had created a demo already and someone else comes in to improve it, which is also just similar to Next Gen compo which is nearly over and another one's on later in the year.
