This was requested by Jon_Lambert after he saw my viewcounter on my Hills and Balls project page. ( http://TinyURL.com/HillsBallsProject )
What this is is a PHP script that makes an image with the number of views in it as text. This way you can include the image in your project page for people to see and for you to know just how many people are looking.
Download here: http://www.LB-Stuff.com/MMF2/LB_TDC_viewcounter.zip
You need to place the viewcount_TDC.php on your website. This requires that you have PHP installed on your server. (I might later think about making one on my website for people who can't have a PHP webhost)
To put it on your poject page: < img src="http://your.website.here/your_path_here/viewcount_TDC.php" >
That's it! Now you have a nice little viewcounter! It can go anywhere that supports images, really, even your own site or signature!
So good luck on your projects!

Really nifty, I think it's a nice addition for people's project pages. Though, I don't think a lot of people have their own PHP-server.

Pretty cool, thanks. I think project pages should have a view count anyway.

Yeah, but from the looks TDC doesn't have asy PHP scripts, all the pages are Active Server Scripts (.asp)
I'm still considering make a feature to have the viewcounters on my website and people just linked to them with a name like
"viewcouters.php?counter=MyProjectName"
If I did that maybe they could be automatically incorperated on ell the project pages as a thing in the top part with all the project info.
But that's all to be thought about.

If they do this, they might as well add it for download pages also.
You can log off any time you like, but you can't ever leave.

My only concern is my server's security, and what to do if people start to make crazy names that mess up my server. But, we'll figure something out.
EDIT: Heh, whay didn't I just think of it before? I'll just limit it to letters and numbers and underscores and dashes only, and have a length limit for it too. Then, everything will work out just fine!
I'll get to work on it.
