ok,I spent hours searching for a freeware one, ofcourse,I constantly got sites that run a "freeware" search for the program, only yielding not free midi converters.
does anybody know of a free midi to wav,or mp3 converter?
Actually, I don't know what that converter does, but I did download it. Never got around to installing it, I don't think. The YouTube converter works though.
Youtube downloader lets you convert previously downloaded files. I don't know if it will work, but if it does you can just as easily use another ffmpeg wrapper. I use audiovideotoexe from time to time. Not sure if it supports Midi.
I used to use Quicktime to convert midi to MP3, plus back then it had its own instrument library so it sounded better than normal midi. Garageband and Logic let you import midi and you can select the (very high quality) instruments yourself. But yea none of thems are free.
Though I have heard very good things about MidiNight Express too.
but-stupid me-forgot that camstudio can record audio from speakers!
so I played the song from the program in which it was made and recorded it with camstudio.
then changed it from AVI to MP3 with format factory, then imported into audacity for proper editing
