So after this week, im going to have around 100 dollars.
Im hoping that I would be able to buy a pretty crappy used computer, but at least ill have one, and be able to start clicking again. (Even if its bad)
So do you think I would have any luck?
Is it even worth buying a used 100 dollar computer?
Sorry for the dumb question, I just want a computer again D;
Your just jealous that you're not as awesome as me.

Depends what you want to use it for I guess.
As long as you don't want to play modern commercial games I think you'll be fine.
What's going on ebay for $100 at the moment?
I actually bought an old IBM laptop a few years ago, for under $100CDN. It's perfect for when I go travelling - has wifi, rock-solid construction (all metal - no flimsy plastic bits like on most modern laptops), and it's obviously crap so noone would steal it

I don't really want to play new commertial games, mainly just for clicking, homework, stuff like that. I have a xbox 360 for games, and I can always but more ram/better video card or things like that when I have money.
For now I just want something.
I know 100 dollars can't really get me all that much, but do you think I can at least get something for what I want it for?

Get yourself a used IBM thinkpad. As long as it's not ancient it will last through the apocalypse. Thinkpads are the only laptops I buy.

Install your own OS and use an old monitor. Places like goodwill and mission thrift stores sell old CRT monitors for $5 or so.
probably one of the best deals you can find. Just make sure you add CD rom drives and such if you don't want to install some you already own. I've found p4 systems (no os) for about $68 or so, but this AMD is much much better. I haaaaaaaaaaaaaate old socket pentium 4s . . no hyperthreading = the suck =/.
This should get you clicking again as I am used to clicking on a computer much less powerful than this one. 512 MB of ram should suffice on xp . . . I have a 2.0 ghz amd athlon XP with 256 ram and it runs great.
If you want to look for more just go to www.pricewatch.com
It's pretty safe to order from, but you may wait longer than expected (1-2 weeks) to get your stuff in since it comes from various suppliers.
ps craigslist.
