I can't recommend any since I haven't played a single one. Shame you sold the Wii. As much as I get frustrated with it's lack of promise, I think I'd regret selling it for the few really great games that do appear.
Yeah the jak series ain't over. I'm looking forward to the new ps2 one. I think it comes out next month. Still, looking at the graphics in uncharted, it makes me reaaaally want a ps3 jak game.

Yeh, but as I said, my bedroom isn't big enough for me to sit back far enough to play the Wii, and there'd be no room for swinging a remote or anything - and I'd never get chance to set it up downstairs, such is my parents love for Sky telly. I liked a lot of things about the Wii, its ease of use, its fun, but I got frustrated about all the cool games that were coming out on the Xbox and PS3, whilst Wii's games seemed mostly to be minigame compilations (MASSIVE GENERALISATION).
"my bedroom isn't big enough for me to sit back far enough to play the Wii"
I sit about a two metres from my TV when playing on the Wii. Ive never swung around or needed space to play, it's not really necessary unless you're playing on wii fit.
I've never actually tried this out, but I use Netflix and I love it to death. Gamefly? You basically rent games and have them shipped to you in a couple of days. Pay monthly for it, but if it's anything like Netflix, it's worth it.
I still need to play Little Big Planet. The friend I'm staying with now has a Playstation 3 and I can't say that I really like it all that much. The dashboard is magnificent; a work of art. The only problem I really have though is that the whole thing just feels isolated and lonely. I mean you boot up the Xbox 360 and assuming you're connected to Live, the whole thing just feels so open and alive. I'd still like to own a Playstation 3 in the near future, but I'm content with my X360.
Anyway, so yeah... as soon as I hear:
Xbox 360 - I think Halo 3 or Gears of War Wii - Super Smash Bros Brawl or Mario Galaxy Playstation 3 - Little Big Planet or Metal Gear Solid 4.
Brandon's idea of renting titles is a good idea. I have just had a month's free trial from LoveFilm.com and I've been playing Infamous on my ps3 all month. The cheapest option with them is just less than £4 a month which is pretty impressive.
Btw Boothman I recommend MGS4, GTA4 and Infamous; I'm not a fan of FPS' either, prefer 3rd person adventures. Prince of persia is quite a cool game albeit a bit short.
Do you have a PSN ID yet? Mine is tickletube if you wanna add me
Check out Wipeout HD on PS Store, it's awesome if you're into futuristic racers
The Ratchet & Clank games if you like platformers
Uncharted has already been mentioned several times, it's an awesome game
Soul Calibur 4 if you're into fighting games

By the time that happens he would already have played a dozen or so good PS3 games that he'd otherwise have missed

I've been using LoveFilm.com for the last couple of month (purely for games) and have to say that their service is worth it. You get to play the games for as long as you want, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the games for yourself.
