Does anyone know why finished projects still appear in the project page's? I thought that finished work appears in the download section or have i got it wrong?
When a project is finished it is up to the developer to add their project to the downloads page - then they can delete their project page if they wish. The reason we keep project pages is because they offer a lot of information into a projects development and it can be interesting to look back at a project and see how it was developed.
There's be no need to bother with writing out interesting project devlogs if you weren't going to keep them once they were done. That's like filming a documentary and then burning the tapes!
It makes perfect sence what your saying OldManClayton and i totally understand just like Flava said also. Just to elaborate abit more about my post though, i search the project page by looking at the top rated titles, as i don't have as much time to look up every new project individually. When you see games in the top rated project list that have already been released and played seems like a another great title isn't getting the opportunity to be discovered. Thats all i was trying to say really. I tell you what would be great though if the project top rated list could be made bigger in number, i don't know if that would be possible?
That's a very valid point! However when projects aren't updated for awhile they drop off the top-rated list. So when they're up there and someone clicks on it, they see it's released, but another cool project drops in its place after awhile!

Brilliant .
I'd like a field to add a link to the project page once a download is submitted, just to tie the game and project together nicely. And maybe a little star graphic next to 100%ed projects.
