I'm a few days late, but happy birthday. Without Firefox, browsing on windows would be a pain.

I don't know if there is adblock on any other broswers, but it certainly makes life more tolerable. So Firefox deserves all glory.

edit: fixed some errors in my spellings. Which explains this massive edit thing below - sorry.

Firefox has built in spell check. Another reason I love it so much!

I'd like to like Firefox but I can't stand its 2-3 crashes per day.

Lol, and I stopped using it shortly before its birthday. Firefox and Vista don't mix. I'm happier now that I've moved back to Opera/Chrome. It's smoother to play browser games on Opera, and faster to surf for stuff on Chrome.

I've tried to be a firefox user several times... I just can't stand it and it's slow after using Chrome for so long.

Who knows what may happen down the line though.

Have you tried reverting to an older version? Firefox 3 freezes a lot for me but 2 is just fine.

I might just do that actually. Also not happy with how it displays video with no controls, time or anything. It's just too halfhearted for its own good.

I'm at a crossroads with FireFox right now. About a month ago, it started giving me all sorts of crap, after years of loyal usage, even on Vista. I started using Chrome and loved it, but after I upgraded to Win7, I tried FireFox again and it's been working decently. Ironic, because it barely did anything on the RC1.

I use opera too, tried firefox but it was acting wierd on my PC, also tried chrome but it lacks several features that Opera has. Like the buttons when you start a new tab, dunno what they are called in english tho (I know Chrome have buttons and stuff but you cant set them to your own webpages; atleast i don't think so?)
; and the download is much better on Opera. Though, I love the feature of having tabs in the heading in google Chrome.

But I would use anything over Internet Explorer. IE's an epic fail

Actually, you can in a way. It's frustrating that they don't let you just pick what you want on the new tab page (which is why I just disable the buttons altogether) but if you visit a site enough you can thumbtack it to the new tab page or keep it from appearing again.

I've become sort of dependent of Adblock. I tried Safari 4 and Opera recently, but I found myself going back to Firefox every time.
