This is a very interesting program about the making of the first 3D game. They were shunned and misunderstood by the majority of gamers who wanted simple 10 minute games with a score at the end. If this community is to survive, I believe it needs more ambitious and new projects, instead of the same thing over and over.

Could you explain what you mean by "ambitious"? I'm guessing you just don't want to see one generic platformer after another here, but what would be your definition of an ambitious game? Do you want longer games, or new gameplay ideas? Sometimes games have one of these and are still very dull in my opinion (oh hi, Bit Trip Beat)

Before watching the video i'll take a guess this first 3d game is Elite.
ha thought so. but only 22kb usable memory? I thought the BBC had 64kb of ram. Ok upon looking up on wikipedia there were loads of models with varying ram from 16kb to 128kb.
this reminds me that at my middle school we actually had loads of these computers even though we only used them to play games on at lunch. With those large black disks that aren't very solid at all. The cases were like cardboard or something.
