@ Del Duio I've always liked hasslevania your game art is top notched in my book.
Thanks a lot, that was the first game I made that didn't use black outlines on everything and I think it made a big difference. Now if only I could do the animations better.. That's the hardest part in my opinion. If I were to just draw one static combat picture for each enemy or something (e.g. Dragon Warrior) it would be a lot easier than making a crappy zombie try to walk and look semi-convincing.

Sadly, I can only take credit for a couple of this characters, most of them are proberty of Ape's game Earthbound. And most of the ones that aren't are parodies of famous characters
Okay, since people are also showing off their non-personal-character artwork, I'll show a peice of my artwork
A lot of this peice was cut off by my scanner. It's called a scratch board drawing, you take this weird cardboard paper coated in ink or something, and draw on it with this knife deal. It's sort of like doing reverse shading where you color in all of the areas being hit by light. I scratched a little to hard on his forehead and made the scanner leave a black mark. Oh well... The person in this pic. is John North Willys, the founder of Willys Overland Automotive. John Willys was an automotive pioneer. Back in the early 1900s, Willys was second to Ford in car sales. Willys is more commonly known for a little off road vehicle nick named "Jeep." Ring a bell to anyone? The first Jeep was a result of Willys trying to gain a contract from the US government during WW2. That's why there's an old flat fender WW2 GPW "Jeep" behind him in the pic. (Willys would fail to evolve in terms of engine size and etc after WW2 and soon became simply Jeep) This was my art project from last year.
right on. Scratch boards now your taking me back a bit. but scans of scratch board are never like seeing the real deal. The lighting on the jeep turned out nice. I tell you nothing teachs an artist more about light than a scratch board.
A scan of a scratch board really takes away its beauty I agree...
Seeing one in "person" is completely different than a computer picture.
I've got a coule more art projects I could upload, like a big pic of FDR, but my scanner isn't big enough to fit the scetch The scratch board is my only art project that will fit on it... I'm sure scratch board drawing would be very easy to do on photoshop, by simply switching the colors around on a black and white scetch. But that ruins the point, scratch boards are supposed to be big, laborous projects.

@Yami: reminds me of the thick line style in some cartoons (i don't like that style) You're Avatar animation is very fluid, I like it.
I'm not so keen on that Kids Arena pic though, it looks ugly somehow, but if the whole game is like that i guess it could work once animated.
