That would be a good point if the daily spotlight was sane. But it isn't, it's pretty retarded. Sometimes it doesn't change for a week, contains bogus and ignores good stuff. I am not even talking about the fact that my games are never in it, I get enough coverage otherwise, but I always see games or projects that should be in there and never aren't.
But back on topic: DC points aren't real currency and probably never will be. But there quite nice to pay people who have contributed to your game, like Muz said. And we can already do that.
Some kind of DC points hiring subboard could be made to accommodate this feature even more.
Hayos idea is good. It actually gives a use to DC points beyond ranks. If you contribute a lot, you get free advertising. Though if you contribute a lot, you probably don't need it.
