Greetings. I'm making a little mini game for my wife, which I might upload on the site later. It's a very simply stealth platformer. I was wondering if anyone could make a few midis for it. Basicly, I was thinking a kinda ambient slow song that would play when you are sneaking, something fast paced when you are spotted, and something groovy for a boss fight.
Seeing as hard it is to get free help with music here (at least with midis), I'
m willing to port the music creator a few bucks. Just as long as you are willing to wait til my next paycheck which is in about 8 days.
This goes without saying, but the midi should be 100% made yourself, not edited or remixed from someone else's midi.
Thanks!

I could help you out, if you want. If you're wondering what my stuff sounds like, here's my YouTube channel:

Just bear in mind that I would reserve the right to use the songs myself after they're created, but I won't distribute them for free use without your permission.
Do you have any screenshots, demos, etc, that would help me capture the mood?

For your "groovy" theme, you might want some jazz/blues?
I'm glad to provide live piano midis for free if you want any.

Just me jamming while bored, I screw up towards the end, but otherwise a pretty standard C major jam.

Sorry, I didn't notice anyone else replied to this until now.
It's off key in a few places, but it has a certain charm to it. I'll gladly accept this. Thank you.
By the way, even if you don't have a real keyboard, I'm sure you could make a wider range of music with a point and click midi creation program. I don't know of any off hand, but I'm sure there are a few free ones online. Since I think you have a great understand of music, you don't have to limit yourself to just a real piano. Although there is nothing wrong with that. =] Thank again.

Hey I know it wasn't too good, that wasn't my best performance, just something random that I recorded, I maybe shouldn't have uploaded it...
Also you abolutely don't need to use it if you don't like it. Really. That would just make me feel bad.

Not sure if you need stuff still Tetsuya, but I could crack out three midis if you like, you wouldn't have to pay me or anything. PM me if you're interested.
http://soundcloud.com/normbo has a couple of (mp3) tracks on it, but other than that there's nothing of my work online. I can do mids though, I did the soundtrack for a game called Scurvy Sanchez 3 a while ago, and various single tracks since then.

Hmm, maybe you misunderstood me or I confused you. I'm saying that I like that sound and I'll find a use for it. I'm not trying to use it out of pity or anything. I think it has charm. Thanks.
@Matt: I just sent you a PM. Thanks.
