I wish they'd do something more than just up the res on these games when they get the PS3 treatment (GoW Collection included) but I'm still glad it's coming to PS3.
Thing is, I already own Shadow of the Colossus for PS2. If I sell it, do you think the used price will go up or down in price when the PS3 version is released?
Looks like a stereotypical Japanese/Japanese esque RPG with huge swords.
Anyhoo I guess the question is, Is the price going to rise/fall drastically? I would doubt so , plus I always like having different versions of the same game so I can spot differences...
seriously tho. they are both 2 of the best games you can get for the ps2.
yes they are from a japanese developer, but they are the farthest things from rpgs you can get.
and no they are not art games. they just happen to be great games that also have f**king brilliant art design.
The graphics look magnificent. Only one problem I have is that the guardian (I'm assuming is what it is), gives me a very animatronic feel. Almost as if, yeah they nearly nailed photo realism... but now it reminds me of an 80's movie.
I'm just nit picking though, it looks beautiful.
Im not so sure, I think the mechanics work in a similar way to Shadow of the colossus (in that you climb on the creature, grab hold of his feathers/fur etc) and use him to get around. In the second video they mention you use his tail to move around (presumably by swinging on it)

Lol, that's why the trailer fails. They made a very interesting concept look typical
Price will probably drop immediately after, but go up slooowly in a few years, then back down after everyone switches to the PS3 (or PS4). If you want to sell, sell now or play an annoying waiting and seeing game for a few years, where you get less money when calculated for inflation anyway

Totally scrapping my original Post. Just researched and found that the Last Guardian is expected late 2011. Really disappointing. Like with Spore (and probably other games) I think they've revealed it too early
