Is there a way to ignore message board posts based upon a username? For example, if someone wanted to ignore posts that I've authored, could they check off "ignore messages from s-m-r" or something like that?
As it stands, no. But it is something that has been suggested in the past and may be implemented in the near future. But if you have a problem with any users, feel free to use the "Alert Admin" button or send one of us a message.

Left 4 dead 1 is better!

EDIT: Actually, I think confusing or strange might be the proper word. Perhaps not, since it's up to the discretion of the user. But I can't imagine anything but confusion coming from it!
Ok, instead of just removing, what about replacing the post with a text saying it was hidden, and give the option to click it to read? Here's an example of how it could look like.
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
It would make DC-arguments funnier than they already are. Instead of "this is the last thing I say, don't even bother replying, you bitch" you get "lol I hid you so I won't read your crap anyway, retard".
