Dear Daily Clickers!
I, Nick of All Trades, have awoken from my state of lurkiness and bestow upon you a task of high .
Below are some expressions for probability ( the odds of exactly q dice of any given value appearing amongst n dice and the odds of at least q dice of any given value appearing amongst n dice respectively ).

I need your help to enter these expressions into a spreadsheet program in order to chart various outcomes.
Also, if you could recommend a sufficient spreadsheet program which is up to the task, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

OpenOffice is OK and free so if you do not own Micorsoft Office its your best (free) bet.

Other possibilities are Octave and Scilab if you fancy doing it in a Matlab type fashion.

Need help for explaining math operators or using math operators in a spreadsheet program?

It's just the binomial probability function and the one summing up the individual results.

Furthermore it uses the following operators:
division for your constants, power raising and combinations:

Borrowed from the world's wiki, that should help you implementing that combination function. Ah I see you've gotten your from them as well
