I've noticed that over the past few years, the clickteam forums have gotten much more active than the daily click. While TDC is getting a bit more active, clickteam support has gotten much more swamped. I think its a sign of how many newcomers we've been getting- people that hopefully will eventually start visiting TDC. Many people spurred on by the newgrounds initiative, in particular.
Yeah, the clickteam forums are mainly full of noobs.
There's been a bit more activity on the forums here lately, but a few more downloads would be nice (and full games - not just minigames/demos/examples/engines/etc).
And yes, I know I'm being a hypocrite and should make something myself...
The updates on the front page are shit. Either the admins are all too busy to post news or just don't care too much. I thought the front page is all that's going on in the click scene but now that I follow clickteam on Facebook I noticed all the stuff that's going on tdc just ignores news.
Wtf is up with that
Example : I didn't see any news about the game builder competition or clickteam talking about that expo they went to where the tested the PSP phone or something.
I've seen some good games that were never brought up here.
Also who the fuck is hitmanN I never see him post on here.I'm glad I'm at least on the list even tough I'm second last
I don't even look at the frontpage any more - I just have a speeddial link to the forums (I'm only really interested in the forums, downloads and articles).
I'm sure if you send the admins a link to something interesting and klik-related that you have seen, then they would post it on the frontpage.
HitmanN is a nice guy. He made "Tank Game", which you should definitely try, if you haven't already. I haven't seen him post anything in a while though - must be hard at work on his new RPG-platformer project.
We can only do so much, my life has gotten busier lately and I'm doing my best. I generally, though not always, only post stuff that happens at the site. Rikus has stepped down, and I can't really explain on behalf of the other admins
