I think Liji was working on one a long time ago but I don't think it was ever released.

Its a very simple shader and I was thinking of taking a crack at it for Asunder, but the tricky part to me is how the heck do you deal with the input/output of the pixel shader? You take in a 1x scale texture, output a 1x scale texture, then MMF2 resizes it to 2x scale to fit the window? =/. Maybe you could take a single corner of the display and use that to scale up the rest, but that just gets this all very tricky

It would have to be applied *after* resizing, right? And I think the pixel shaders are applied before that
