The lens object doesn't work in HWA, nor do most other software-rendered graphical extensions.
However, there are pixel shaders which do very similar things;
If I want high alpha channel quality shadows then I must use HWA, but then the Lens object won't work so I can't create a zoom effect.
But that's ok cause I can use the Zoom pixel shader, oh wait no I can't cause then none of my alpha channels work.
Sooo back to my original question, what are the best zooming techniques? (in HWA and without using layer effects)

Is there any way to have a reflection that's not a rectangle or can use a mask? I want to make an effect that's like a spherical object reflecting the room around it and I think I could have done it with the lens object but the lens shader just does zoom.
