I think this is totally ridiculous. Sony like all companies storing data have a responsibility to protect it.
I think you need to read up a little more about this.

Yeah, the opt-out clause, and the fact that it only applies to class action lawsuits, and the fact that none of us were ever realistically likely to sue Sony anyway.

I know, I had to accept those terms and conditions when I signed onto Xbox Live yesterday I sort of feel like our human rights are gradually being stripped away.
