I was thinking I would just have to create an object with always and that would do it but no...that was a horrible idea.
So what I'm trying to make is an energy beam that can move and the tail end drags behind it. Hard to explain but when you think of Goku having to move his Kamehameha it should become clear(why do I send like poorly translated japanese) I need it to be smooth enough so it looks like a solid entity.
i agree with antworx, it would be easiest to have the character fire some kind of "bullet" and have another object constantly created at the tail end of the object thats acting as a "bullet" this would give off the illusion of a beam if you make it so the trail isnt deleted to quickly. i can make a quick example if youd like.
