Hiya! Sorry for all the posting, but I'm just eager to learn!
How do I disable the "ClearText" thing in multimedia fusion 2? You might recognize it as the
little coloring effects that get added to your font depending on the color behind the text. Is there a way to disable this?
Im not quite sure what you mean, Are you talking about the string object? If you give more details as to what you are doing and how you are doing it myself or someone else may be able to help.
Never apologise for posting here for help, thats why its here
What font are you using? Not all fonts use ClearType.
To disable it, enable the Anti-Aliasing option for your string.
This a screenshot from MMF2. Both strings are using the font Berling Antiqua. Top string has Anti-Aliasing disabled and the bottom doesn't. Which does seem wierd because Anti-Aliasing is pretty much the same thing as ClearType.
Anti-aliasing works on pretty much anything and any resolution. It does not affect resolution
Cleartype on the other hand requires a specific pixel layout (which is common to just about every modern LCD screen and displaying at the screen's native resolution. In theory it triples horizontal resolution at expense of color fringing.
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
