So I was wondering, how many have made their mmf games in html5 yet? Does it work okay?

MMF doesn't yet support exporting to HTML5. According to Clickteam, they tried implementing an HTML5 exporter to MMF2 but the peformance was not on a sufficient level, hence they scrapped it. I guess the earliest when it will become available is somewhere in late 2013 (with MMF3).

You can easily convert flash files to html5 with swiffy.. So it is possible to export your mmf games to html5.. but has anyone tried it yet?

No one wants to try it out?
What about your game sumo? Could you please test it to see the differences?

Swiffy has a 1 MB limit so that seriously restricts what I could get from it and it doesn't support all of the flash features so it isn't guaranteed to work. I think OMC tried once with an animation and it failed because of the lack of support for certain features.

I think what Jon is saying is that sure, you can have a Flash game of very large size (for example, Don Luciano's recently released Shields of Fate weighs in at just about 20MB) but the Swiffy converter only allows for a 1MB-max file size...Pretty useless for most contemporary games.
I also have the Flash exporter; I've been able to create Flash games of various sizes, all well over the 1MB limit. I'm not interested in trying to cram any of those projects into a 1MB file just to convert it to HTML5.

I tried Swiffy with a very very simple 600kb MMF-generated SWF, and all I got was errors and blank white screen.

I wasn't talking to you. I was hinting at MMF2 being behind the curb again with advancing technology. They're getting better; Yves, Francois, and all the new coders have defiantly sped up the process. However after being a loyal kliker back when TGF was first released, after recently exploring new software like Unity and discovering the power behind them. It's kind of made me wince when I look at some of the massive work arounds that are necessary to get some of these even newly released software updates, to do anything expected of most modern programs these days.
Don't get me wrong, the software is amazing and has so much potential... but this HTML5 stuff is just another small piece of straw on top of the camels back.
And I haven't completely abandoned MMF2. It's proven to be great for quickly getting visual concepts down in front of me, moving and working - far better than simply sketching could do. And saves me time to fix potential problems with the concept before I waste my time trying to program them in C# and get them functioning in Unity or XNA before realizing a core principal in the concept was flawed and the amount of reworking I'd need, basically junks the code.

I understood everything he said perfectly, now, if someone could understand my follow up question?

PuTs I don't have Flash Professional to try this with, seeing as it costs quite a bit of money. Probably the reason I bought the Flash exporter for MMF2 in the first place.
