Were awesome, but then years later when you play them, you say "Wow, this is pretty bad!"
Mine is just about everything I've ever made in MMF and TGF. Combo Block Bomber Rush is alright I guess, but a lot of stupid, stupid mistakes that could have easily been rectified had I thought harder.
My first game was called Vortex Runner and it was a really crappy 3D effect with a really crappy game built on top of it. Since then I've made a few games but basically anything I made before 2006 was pretty bad. I think Uchuusen and Falafel turned out alright, based on the comments I read, but even those could have been improved in a lot of ways.

but seriously i think sam the slug is fun and kind of innovative. it combines the addictive concept of snake with a puzzle element. great stuff. SO GREAT and even addictive i might rip it off / steal it and put it in the app store just to see how well it well do and then tell you how well it went just to show you that this game wasnt bad in ANY WAY.
hell i think i should really do this given the fact ive got a mac dev. acount. consider your idea stolen.
I think CHRISTMAS ISLAND is Mr Streets best work todate
My biggest problem is I never finish game so I can't really comment on the subject. Block Master is as close as I've come to finishing a game but that's still way off.
I think all of my older games are worse than what I could make now. I guess My first ever games seemed awesome at the time purely because I was actually making games for the first time.
Now I think about what I'm doing and will scrap them if I don't like what ive got.
I guess one example would be my 2nd Dizzy fan game Lost woods Dizzy. Now i would have made a better inventory system, tried to emulate the movement as closely as possible to the Spectrum/Amstrad versions and attempted to make my own music.
I feel this way about pretty much everything I make. I was really proud when Star Angel made the front page and when Astro Dude made GOTW, but looking at both of them now made me cringe, if only because of the horrendous music I made for them. >.< Heck, I'm not really that thrilled about my more recent projects either, like Jade Phoenix.
Super Ecksdee Panic is probably the only completed game that I have no major qualms with.
I was thinking that my game DMFS Escape was "totally epic on so many levels," and now that I've become at least a little better at making games, I have a feeling I could give it a major overhaul and fix a ton of stuff. Probably the only thing I'd keep the same (other than basic gameplay) would be the graphics.
A lot of my older games I think aren't all that good. I really wish I know more about custom movements for Necropolis Rising. I think the jitterness and collison problems hurt that game. Same with the voice samples, regular sfx would have been way better in retrospect.
