Here's a thread for people to post any screenshots they'd like to share to showcase their entry for the Summer FunTition 2012...!
Please feel free to post screenshots or assets here; save questions about the rules for the other FunTition thread.
I'm stoked to see all your projects...!

Still more progress on the same level. The idea is that you jump from person to person in one family and follow them during typical swedish summer things (with some modifications )... This is part of school graduation

I guess I got a bit ahead of myself by posting pictures in the other thread.
But here is an image of a level from my game as it is right now. I might edited it a bit since i'm trying to squeeze as much as i can out of 262 objects. That level has 215 objects at the start and there's some room for improvement. There are various debug counters and objects I don't really need.

The Spikes are retractable. A decent amount of time is given before they rise up.

The levels have been completely Redone. Detectors on each side of the player prevents spikes from damaging at all.

I've made a good start on a game now though and so hopefully it's got me started on a project I wouldn't otherwise have done.

Very valid question, because I do ponder on how you'd get past those spikes.
My question was more to do with a strange little thing a lot of games have where spikes will damage you even though they're drawn in such as a way as to suggest you'll only be damaged if you touch the top. Which is why i was confused by the answer.

Anyways wanted to say that Rainbow Runner looks nice and fun to play, just wish the yellow guy was actually rainbow coloured because I think that would look really good on him (or her).
Cheers and happy coding.

huh, lots of bug testing required. Including an annoying little quirk where an event that opens a specific group opens up the wrong group if the code is copied into a new frame. Something I only have to do because of the RULES!
