Hi guys, noticed my avatar has disappeared recently and seeing it was hosted on my sitesled account I'm trying to check whats up, I can't access the site and ftp seems to be down.
I never really used sitesled much lately but I had a lot on it and it's bit of a bugger if it's all gone.
I had no email warning of such a thing but from looking at past times where they have been offline, could this be temporary or do you guys think it's gone for good...

One would assume. I'm surprised it has still been around as long as it has.
I still had my account on there, guess I lost all those files.
Who was paying for the servers?

It always goes down. There was this time in 2009 where it was down for a week. It might be gone forever.

If anyone finds out about sitesled please post it here. My entire site is on there too.
It might be time for an upgrade. Any alternatives?
And anyone know how to contact the admins at sitesled?

I just realised that I can apply for a free website on godaddy if I already have a domain name with them. 10GB of space, 300GB bandwidth monthly. This is more than enough for me.
Thought I'd share with others who might not know that have a free website sitting there for them if you have bought the domain name already.
Cheers
