https://www.scirra.com/construct2
Construct is a program by Scirra for making HTML5 games in a lethargic as way as possible.
Construct has one-up from Multimedia-Fusion with it's coding.
It has always been my dream to create a real time strategy of my very own but Multimedia-Fusion's features have always fallen short to make it possible but Construct has built-in path-finding and line-of-sight which makes A.I. easy to code.
Construct is on Steam, none of it's competitors such as Game Maker, Stencyl, Engine001 or Multimedia-Fusion are on Steam and generally speaking- Steam only accepts good programs.
I've been using Klik programs since... when was Klik n' Play out? Then! I'm kinda sad to see Multimedia-Fusion fall behind of one of it's competitors.
Guys! Trust Me! The event editor has become the Betamax of indie programming, it is an outdated and obsolete coding method that has too much hassle to use effectively- requiring 10 events for simple logic that could be explained in one if you had sub-clauses.
In everything except Multimedia-Fusion, you can do this:
Upon pressing Space
+If value equal 0
+-Then set value to 1
+-Else set value to 0
And that is why we are falling behind, because we simply can't do this without the most insane workarounds imaginable! Set value to (value*-2)+1 I can hardly come to terms with this lack of basic human logic!
Even more, I can hardly come to terms with the fact that the company and it's products I've loved for so long is being outdone by all of it's competitors.

Multimedia fusion isn't on steam, but Clickteam fusion is, which is the new version. Also, this isn't the clickteam insults forum, so please don't say this kind of thing. This is your opinion, Construct is for people who are utterly useless at programming. CF2 has these physics objects as well, further corrupting your point. Please research before you hate. CF2 and MMF2 are for people who want to actually say they made something without using absolutely every shortcut they could to prevent coding.
Also, It is easily possible to do what you said. There is no hassle at all.

"Construct 2 is a powerful ground breaking HTML5 game creator designed specifically for 2D games. It allows anyone to build games — no coding required!"
"no coding required!"
See?

I have tried out construct but I have too much experience with MMF2 to leave it. I'm used to all its quirks, how it handles scope etc... I'm sure construct is good, but mmf2 is a better tool for me.

They're the same thing.
I use MMF2 just because I already own and know how to use it.
If that weren't the case, I'd go with Construct just because it's free.
Personally, I'm very slowly moving away from this kind of software altogether.

Jeff Vance bullied me. he banned me from the clickteam forums, all because I posted Touhou: Warriors of Friendship (my game) there. He claimed it was because my posts "caused flame wars" when I wasn't the one doing the flaming, in fact I was the VICTIM of the flaming. I gave him $400 because I liked his program and I basically get a big bird flipped in my face in the form of being blatantly told I am not welcome in the community and therefore just so you know that also means I can't get tech support for a program I paid a lot of money for! I decided enough is enough, and I bought construct. I am currently learning how to use it and trying to decide who the protagonist of my next game will be. so far it seems superior to MMF in ways that are hard to explain.... regarding things that are small but make a big difference!

Also, I agree with the third post in this topic. Construct is advertised as requiring no coding language and being easy for beginners, but so is MMF.

That's kinda how I feel right now too, I'm so used to MMF2 in every way, I can not conceive of using anything else ever, regardless of how good it may very well appear to be.

I believe CF2 is better. I like the storyboard editor and the checkboxes in the event editor. The Construct 2 event editor is not visual enough, I believe. You may as well type the code out with the keyboard the way they have it set up.
Which group do you guys believe will be the first to implement 3D? Clickteam or Scirra?

This topic pops up every once and a while.
It was a bigger deal back when tigerworks left our small community to make construct in the first place.
Anyway MMF/CF has many more years of development behind it, and a ton of exporters. If you just want to play around with HTML 5 then construct 2 is great! But we all know the answer to the question of which is better. It's no contest.

I brought Construct 2 in the January sale, and I am very happy I brought it.
Got mode 7 working already with shaders, and most of the inbuilt movements I have tried just work. I find it a bit of a joke that Fusion has had the same broken movements since KNP. Sure, everyone knows how to make a decent movement engine, but if there if something ready made and configurable, why re-invent the wheel?
Plus, the updates seem to have broken my copy of fusion 2.5. Way to go, gents. I would love to try out the new physics based movements in it...

In the terms of visual editing, the ones that are higher up the scale are:
Scratch
http://scratch.mit.edu/
Stencylworks
http://www.stencyl.com/
Both of them like Fusion or Construct have their own inherit advantages and flaws.
