Haha, aw. You remembered! Happy birthday to you too, Ricky! And thanks, everyone.
It was a good one. Trekked around San Francisco the whole day. I was quite the tourist noob.

In the community? I don't actually know, lol.
I bought Android exporter and Fusion 2.5 and haven't really done much with them!
Although I did experiment for ages trying to get something working at a constant 60FPS on the OUYA. Which turns out is nigh on impossible.
So lately Ive been thinking about perhaps remaking Lil' pirate.

sigh, that's been my experience with the flash exporter. It can hit a high frame rate but still doesn't feel nearly as smooth as it should.

Aw, no Lil' Pirate Ouya, then?
I kind of wanted to try making an XNA game, but since XNA is being phased out now, the whole XBOX development thing is sort of confusing.

I found out to get the best performance you really need to avoid upscaling. So either draw all art for 1080p which is a hell of a lot of pixels to draw, or resize stuff 400X or something. Even then you're not going to get a solid 60FPS unless you very carefully count how many objects are on your screen at any given time and that includes backdrop objects...
So why not just make it a PC game if anything?
Thats not to say I can't make something else more suitable to what people are playing on Android devices. We can all whip up a Flappy bird clone is 3 minutes if we wanted.

Even Flappy clones have bad performance on the Android runtime. At least mine did. The iOS runtime is the best so far.
