For such a joyous holiday, I'm choosing to unveil my latest project, Super Noah Vs. The Dinosaurs.
It's a game about a grandfather teaching his grandchild about the lost scriptures of the bible, where Noah was commanded by God to rid the planet of those pesky dinosaurs and other troublesome creatures. It also goes through a secondary account of the great flood. All of this is proven and scientifically accurate.
It's a heart warming tale, filled with tragedy, romance and blood curdling action that the holy bible is known for.
This video details one of the first scenes in the game, the script is a little rough and my broken down PC can't quite handle the frame rate with the screen recordings, but it's something.
The graphics are cute and I love the dialogue system you're employing here. The little sounds for their voices and the thunder are nice touches. In my opinion I think the language should be toned down a bit. This game wouldn't happened to be inspired by a recent movie release would it?
Ha, this was actually a little game I was going to develop for XBLIG a while back until I found out that they don't accept games that parody religion. I just put together this little thing for April 1st, but a few people seem to think I should actually go through with it and make it. I'm currently actually still working on my revisions of homesick.
Double-negative! So, your serious work IS complete garbage?
Trolololol. Kidding.
Get ready for all sorts of mindless butthurt from the religious crowds if you do release this.
They won't realize it's a complete joke. Nice graphic style, though. Looks to be kind of promising.
ChrisD> Employer: Say, wanna see a magic trick?
ChrisD> Employee: Uhh… sure, boss.
ChrisD> Employer: Your job! It just disappeared! Pack your things and leave! Pretty good trick, huh?
