We are developing a fantasy board game, and looking for some inspired writers who could help is in writing some short quests for our game. I copy one of our already written quest here, for you to grasp what this is all about:

Each quest consists 4 double sided trading card size card. Each card has an A side, and a B side. To follow a quests storyline you start with 1A(the first cards A side), and continue until you reach 4B(the last cards B side): 1A-1B-2A...-4B. To turn a card from the A side to the B side, you must RESOLVE the A side of the card(that means, to pay a predefined amount of resource). After this, you must DISCARD the card to get to the next card in line. To discard a card, you must follow the instruction written on the B side of the card. Here's an example quest:

Quest name: Wrongfuly Accused

Card 1 - A Side:
You recieve a strange letter delivered by a courier: “We heard that you are looking for work, and you aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty. In the following weeks, one of our associates will be hanged by the local authorities. But the murder he is accused of, wasn’t committed by him. The culprit is Dorghar, a highly esteemed dwarf noble from town. If you could get into his house, and find proof, we would be very greatfull. If you are interested, meet me at midnight at the sewer entrance.” The letter is signed by the Thieves Guild.

Card 1 - B Side:
You arrive at the meeting point just before midnight. A slim figure appears from the shadows and greets you: “I was hoping you will come. Dorghar left the town just a few minutes ago, and he won't be back in the next few days, but the local guards are keeping an eye out on the house, so entering from the main entrance would be suicidal. But there is a secret passage that leads to the house in the sewers. This way, you will only have to dispose of his personal bodyguard. Here, take this map, and when you have the documents, that prove Dorghar commisioned the murder, don't worry about contacting us, as we will find you. Take care”. You may discard this card. (Here you don't have to do anything to discard this card)

Card 2 - A Side:
Finding the secret passage shouldn't be that hard, the map the mysterious thieves guild member gave you is clear and easily usable. The harder part of this mission will be disposing of Dorghar's bodyguard. But first thing first, you should find the entrance, then you can think about what to do with the bodyguard.

Card 2 - B Side:
You find the entrance, and enter the mansion of Dorghar. As you open the secret door, you find yourself in the mansions cellar, which is filled with expensive wine. As you follow the stairs to the hall of the mansion, you notice the guard who is unaware of your presence at the moment. You may roll 1 die, if you roll a 6, you manage to knock down the guard, and may discard this card. Otherwise, place Dorghar's Guard from the SPECIAL CREATURES deck on this card, and fight him. If you manage to beat him, you may discard this card. (There is also an icon on this card, which states that if one of your heros has the Agility skill, you may roll with +2 dice)

Card 3 - A Side:
Now that the guard is disposed of, you should start searching the manor, for the documents which prove the innocence of the thieves guilds associate. You can only hope, that Dorghar and his son won't arrive while you are in the mansion, because you can quickly join the one who you are trying to save at the gallows.

Card 3 - B Side:
You search trough each floor of the manor, but the documents you are looking for are nowhere to be found. The only place left is a small metal cabinet which is protected by a dwarven combination lock. The documents must surely be in there. To open the cabinet roll 3 dice. If you manage to roll a STRAIGHT OF THREE you manage to open the cabinet and you can discard this card. (There is also an icon on this card which states that if one of your heros has the Intelligence skill, you may roll with +2 dice.)

Card 4 - A Side:
You find the documents which prove that the murder was commisioned by Dorghar, and the murderer is a Lizardman from Varthonia. Now you must wait, until the mysterious thieves guild member contacts you, and you can gain your reward. If you have the Human Thief in your party, you may immediately REVEAL this card without paying anyting, as you contact the Thieves Guild yourself. Otherwise, place 2 quest tokens on this card. You may take down one quest token at the beginning of each of your turns, and when there are no more quest tokens on this card, you may REVEAL this card normally. (Besides the usual reveal cost, if you haven't got the Human Thief hero, you must wait another 2 turns before you can reveal this card)

Card 4 - B Side:
You hand the documents to the mysterious figure, who after studying it for a short time, takes out a bag of gold from his pockets and give it to you. "Thank you for your assistance, you were a big help to the Thieves Guild. If we have any other jobs for you in the future, we will know where to find you" With this, he dissapears in the shadows. You gain 10 gold coins. Put this card in your score pile.

So basically, I am looking for creative people, who would be willing to write these kind of short stories, in given environments(we have a few environments, this one was the sewers, there is also a forest environment, a crypt environment, a mage tower with demons, a magical tower, a mountain where dragons live etc.).

I am looking for creative people, who write for pleasure, for the sake of the game and playing. I don't want to fool anyone, so I state this up front: I can only offer money for these work, if the Kickstarte campaign of my game will be succesfull. I am willing to sign a contract with anyone on the other hand, that the works they provide me won't be used commercialy, without further permission.

If interested, please PM me or, write in this thread!

[For admins: If this isn't the right place to post my query, please move this thread. Thanks!]
