I don't understand why Clickteam left out a feature of 'Box2D race car physics' the thing that a car (or something) would slow down while not pressing forward/backward.
I tried to do this so that when not pressing up or down, the speed would decrease. It works when driving forward, but when i drive backward and release the down button, the car just jumps forward the speed it had backward and then slows down.
I had this resolved earlier but it's been a while since i have used click tools.
Can't log in with my account on bugbox. This should really be fixed. It should have been fixed in knp. Assuming there was race car movement there. Weird.
but isn't there a feature called deceleration in that movement?
If you set that to something other than zero, it should apply that deceleration and it should work.
Could be that I have the wrong built-in car movement in mind.
Both the Box2d and normal race car movements only slow down when you press up/down. What i mean is they should slow down automatically when no button is pressed. With normal race car movement this can be fixed, but in physics race car movement it cant because the speed can't be negative. At least i can't.
