Hi guys.
I've always wondered how to pull this technique off in a game, but could never manage...
An example file would be of great help if you can provide one.

I don't have time for an example file, but I'd imagine the easiest way to pull this off would be by using small detectors on the left and right corner of each grabbable edge, testing for overlap with the player active, then switching between a platform and static movement while a custom "pull-up" animation plays. Once the animation is over, switch back to the default platformer movement.

See if you can get your hands on the Zeb source that came with TGF, I'm pretty sure that had what you're talking about.

I distinctly bought just MMF2.
That's funny, it says I should have example games under Examples in my installation directory, but its not there...wierd... I don't remember ever deleting the example game folders...
EDIT: Oh because it's under disc 2. I'll go dust it out...
