A long time ago, I wrote an article here ( https://www.create-games.com/article.asp?id=1898 ), that was basically just a long list of useful formulae. It turns out that some people are actually still reading that article, even though it was written back in 2008 and much of the information contained within is now quite outdated (plus all the image links are broken).
So, I thought I'd write an updated version, that would also offer a little explanation of the underlying maths alongside each formula - and well, one thing led to another, and now five thousand words later...
Here it is: http://www.klikology.lovestoblog.com
Anyway, I hope someone finds it useful!

Thanks for sharing, I'm sure people will find it useful. You may also want to consider updating your old article for those who come across it as many of the image embeds seem to have broken.

That's a good idea. I don't have the images any more (for that article or any of the others), unfortunately, but I might see if I can redo them quickly (or copy them from the new article), and I can certainly update the text. I would ideally have liked to upload the whole thing here, but the options for formatting are a bit too limited.

Great thanks!
I bookmarked it back in 2008.
I wonder if I still have the bookmark on my PC.
I usually bring all my bookmarks with me when I get a new one.
I use a lot of the math in there, and maybe your article is where I grabbed most of it, but I honestly don't remember anymore.
Edit: There was also a tool I used to use a lot called the snippets manager or something, and you could put in the names of active objects and it would generate an expression that could be copy/pasted into fusion. Super cool. I used the crap out of that.

It's scary how long some of us have been doing this, isn't it? And while TDC is not exactly thriving these days, some of the games on here are very nearly 20 years old!
Haha, yes, I remember the old Snippet Manager. For a time, I was actually planning to make a website like the one I'm doing now, but with the Snippet Manager functionality built in to it as well - that might be an idea...
