Hey all, I remember how fun the Tank Wars Online level editor was. I could create levels and then play them with people online, and play maps with them that they had made. It not only expanded the content of the game, but helped build up the sense of community amongst those who played it.

I also worked on the SmileyHouse level editor/viewer for mostly internal use to help develop the game. Using a tool I made myself had a different feel to it, as whenever there was something I wanted as a feature which couldn't be done I could either add it or get Code6 to add it.

What Click games are you most happy had a level editor? Do you have any relevant memories to share on making or using a level editor?

Hi! Ive been doing some editors in fusion for a while. For my latest game i did my most advanced level editor yet. you select a type of block and just paint it on the stage and it places the correct block depending on the neighbour block. But it doesn't make me a better level designer but the editor makes it easier to make levels.

That editor looks great. I love how you can select the terrain type and it automatically figures out the edges and draws it as appropriate. It looks like it also has an overview map which seems handy for such a large level.
