Hey folks!
I don't know how many people still check up on this place, but I wanted to share a bit of a project I've been working on. It's based on that faux-3D tiles thing I showed some years back. I've been trying to work it into something resembling an actual game (with an otter main character).
I don't know how to embed video files, so apologies for the crummy GIFs!
It's still a crazy pile of shaders, but I think it's going pretty well!
The otter himself has a layered sphere making up his head and body. The rest of the bits are mostly sprites positioned and rotated in space. Things like the tail are made by stretching pieces between two points.
Thanks!
Yup, it's 100% Fusion! It's mostly sprite scaling/positioning with a lot of math, and I've got some shaders I made that add the faux-3D tile depth and such.

Ok... now THAT'S impressive as hell! Great job on it!
Outer worldy for a fusion game I love the grafics and the 3d colors and all looks great. If i knew how todo these things I've been doing zombie games. Well done!
This looks incredible, Fifth! Not only the sprite scaling. but the animation too. In many ways it's a cumulation of the awesome effects and engines you've created over the years. Did you create your own level editor for it too?
Now this looks fantastic! This is the kind of game I absolutely wish I could have made myself back in the day, might end up inspiring me to try again sometime

Mm, glad you check in from time to time, too! And I'm surprised to see so many old members still around, even if just occasionally. I don't really know where else to talk about Click stuff anymore!

Yeah, it really is a sum of everything I've learned from old projects.
And it definitely has a custom level editor, heh. And a few other editors, too.
