Oh, yeah, I agree with Dines. The top 10 only shows the most viewed articles, not the best. Any newbie just entering the site would click the top one. Even some non-newbies are compelled to click on it again.
So overall, the top 10 articles and top 10 downloads are just stuff that were very highly hyped before the DC became as famous as it is. It's nearly impossible to shift the rankings unless you make something the world's wanted to see for years.

Sorry about the triple post, but unfortunately, the DC *STILL* doesn't have an edit feature even though the old DC had one.
Here's the list of the somewhat quality articles that I've written:
Anti-aliasing for newbies(and all others)
How to get your games downloaded from the DC
Drawing pretty graphics quickly -- Muz's way
And then there's the ever so popular, "Newbie bashing and klik standards", an article that greatly changed the klik community at that moment. For weeks after that, klikers were so inspired that they continuously produced anti-noob bashing articles to the point of pissing off Circy.
And then there's the good ones not everyone agrees with:
Creating the ultimate games - the secrets to it all
Making a good RPG, Muz's style
Have fun!
